Q.   What kind of special offers do I receive as a member?

Q I have been a member for 3 months and still have not received my membership card.  What can I do?

Q. I have been a member for 3 months and still have not received my membership card.  What can I do?

A. It will take 4 weeks from the time you join for the card to arrive.  All cards must be picked up at the store in 4a.  Cards are only issued once.  If it is lost please contact 946-2394 to reorder.

Q. What are your hours & locations?

A. Store in 4a 9:00-5:00. Building 6 (Mon-Tue) 1:30-4:00 (Wed-Fri) 11:00-4:00. Building 9 11:00-12:00, Monday - Friday. Click for locations.

Q.  Why do I not have the advantage of payroll deduction for large purchases?

A. At the current time there is simply not the manpower to process such transactions.   

Q.  How can I keep track of current activities?

A. Check the home page and watch the back page of the FYI.

Q.  Can I order flowers through BAEC?  I heard the Club sends flowers free to it's members, is that true?

A.  Yes, we can take personal orders.  These orders are processed by Dean's Designs/Brown's Botanicals who do beautiful work.  Please check the listing under Flowers for details.

Q. What about balloon bouquets?

A.  The store in 4a does have balloon bouquet service.  Go to the listing under Balloon Bouquets.

Q. Why is there no place to drop personal mail at the facility, mail has to be delivered somewhere in the plant ?

A. It is a company policy that our on-site mailroom will not be responsible for or handle personal mail.  Mail is not delivered to the plant, it is picked up by the mailroom employees.  The USPS will not leave a mail box at the plant due to our close proximity to the main post office on the east side and the Delano Station on the west side.

Q. Can I buy movie tickets through BAEC?

A. Yes, check the listing under Movie Tickets.  These tickets must be purchased at the Club.  They are simply vouchers that you will exchange for the actual ticket at the theater.  

Q.  What movies are the VIP tickets good for?

A. The vouchers can be used day and night, seven days a week.  The only restriction is if the newspaper reads "Special Engagement" or "No Passes".

Q.  What about concert tickets?

A. Yes, the Club will pay 5% of the ticket price to concerts offered to the Club.  Check the listing under Concerts and Shows

Q.  I purchased concert tickets and forgot to pick them up and the concert is tonight?  What can I do if the store is closed?

A. All unclaimed tickets will be left at the west guard shack.  You will need your yellow receipt and badge to pick them up.

Q.  Why is merchandise marked with two prices?

A.  Members enjoy a 30% discount on our retail merchandise.  The two prices represent the member and non-member price. 

Q.  My friend who is not a member wants a hat at member price can I just buy it for him with my membership?  

A.  No.  This is cheating all the people who pay their dues weekly.

Q. If I have a problem with the vendors on the retail discount list what can I do?

A. Please feel free to call 946-2394 or email .  Please include the name of the vendor and a brief description of the problem.

Q. How do I cancel my BAEC membership?

A. Stop by the Club and complete a cancellation sheet.  Bring your blue member card and attach it to the back of the form.  We will pass this information along to benefits.  

Q.  I'm going to retire next month, can I still attend events?

A. Yes, retirees that retire as a member will enjoy the same benefits in retirement.  

Q. What is the price difference for theme park tickets at the club vs. at the gate?

Q. Can I write a check for cash at the store?  What about a money orders?

A. If you are a member you may write a check for up to $10.00 over the amount of your purchase.  We are not set up to handle money orders.
